33 weeks-what a difference a week can make

We have passed our 33 week mark and there seems to be no end in sight (near sight anyway). We went Monday to see our High Risk Dr and when we arrived the nurses tried to do the NST first to get it out of the way- well the babies were not happy about this and were off and moving within minutes-so after 25 minutes of trying to catch them on the monitors they decided to let me see the Dr first. So we moved on over to the u/s room and the Dr came in-amazed as ever to see me still pregnant lol. He checked my cervix and its still holding up just fine-which also amazes him apparently. The u/s went a lot better this time then last- all the babies had shifted just enough to allow the Dr to see all of the babies more clearly-most importantly he could see Baby A without having to him me roll all over the exam table and without causing me horrible pain. All 3 boys were wide awake however they remained calm so the Dr could get their measurements...and boy what a diffence does a week make! All babies are now measuring over 4 pounds each....here are our weights!

Baby A-4 pounds exactly
Baby B And Baby C- 4 pounds 9 oz
And Mom-Up 0 pounds from last week - total weight gain still holding still aat 24 pounds

The Dr seemed very pleased with the babies and insured us that if they would arrive now they would be okay-ys they may still have NICU time but the chances of major problems are extremely low now. He seems to think these babies arent gonna come out on their own but would rather wait it out until they are evicted by Dr Baird....I also feel this way-why do all my kids have to be so stubborn?!? After our u/s we went back across the hall for our NST and with a nurse holding one monitor in place for Baby A and Dad helping to hold Baby C in place we managed to get 15 minutes of monitoring time in-this time Baby B just relaxed and didnt have to be held in place-this meant we were finished with the NST in under 2 hours- Mom was beyond happy!

On Thursday we went to see Dr Baird hoping we would be getting an eviction date but NO- she would rather wait til we go back to see the High Risk Dr Monday and have him give us an end date-or a timeline as to where he doesnt want me going past. So she had us schedule an appt to see her again on next Thursday-hopefully we will then get a date. It seems both Dr's are waiting for them to arrive on their own-but the babies just dont want to. Dr Baird said that my triplets are the best behaved triplets shes ever had to deal with and she is so happy that weve gone the entire 33 1/2 weeks without any hospital time...as are we! At this appt my stomach is measuring 51 weeks pregnant-now that is amazing lol!

This week we went out and purchased our strollers and carseats. We managed to get 2 double strollers and 3 infant seats for under $300.00-all new! We were expecting to have to spend over 500.00 so we were so excited to get the deals we got. Now if we can only find a van to transport all these kids lol!

Well thats it for now-Im gonna go watch some TV with Alexzander and head to bed-Im sure You will all be reading more from the pregnant me next week!

Triplet Update Week 32

So here we are at 32 weeks. Everything seems to be going well with the babies and Mom so far. All 3 babies are over 3 pounds (almost 3 1/2) and will hopefully hit the 4 pound mark real soon. I am up to a 24 pound weight gain since the beginning of the pregnancy however I feel way bigger. My stomach is measuring about 11 months pregnant-which helps explain why I feel so big lol. Everyday I find myself becoming more and more uncomfortable and Im spending more time at home and in bed. Everything hurts and just changing sides in bed seems to make every part of my body sore. Its so hard to make it through the day and while I know these babies need more baking time- I will be so happy when the finally arrive! Speaking of arrival~ Our Dr would like us to make it to at least 35 weeks which would put our c-section date somewhere around the 1st of Febuary~ Both Dr's seem to think we will make it this far with no problems. We see our high risk Dr every week now for a quick ultrasound to check the babies and to check for dilation. We also have a non stress test once a week to monitor the babies-however they still dont sit still and these tests seem to take longer and longer as the weeks go by. It usually takes 2 hours and 3 nurses to get 10-15 minutes of heartbeats for 3 babies-and thats on a good day. I can already tell we are gonna have a bunch of little trouble makers on our hands-they must take after their daddy lol. We are still trying to figure out names for these 3 little ones - Ive added a poll on this page so you can vote for your favorite names, please feel free to vote for 3 or more names since we have to come up with a total of six! Well thats our update for now-hopefully we are still around next week so that I can update everyone at week 33!

Welcome to our New Blog
